A Season of Giving: Permian Basin Giving Tree Wrap-Up

The Permian Basin Giving Tree continues to shine brightly as a beacon of generosity and community support, and this year was no exception. Together, the Permian Basin made a profound difference for families across the region, filling hearts and homes with hope during the holidays.

The Numbers Tell the Story

This year’s incredible impact is reflected in the numbers:

  • 438 ornaments filled
  • 2,828 toys
  • 2,495 articles of clothing
  • 242 pairs of shoes
  • 108 books
  • 360 pairs of socks
  • 302 sets of underwear
  • 487 sets of pajamas

Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses, and partners, 449 kids received gifts tailored to their needs and wishes. With the support of dedicated community members we are reaching new heights and spreading joy further than ever before.

More Than Gifts: Filling Resource Closets

Beyond individual gifts, the Giving Tree’s impact extended to the larger community. In total, 6 West Texas resource rooms were stocked and replenished with essentials to support families year-round. These closets are lifelines, ensuring kids have access to clothing, shoes, and other necessities long after the holiday season has passed.

Gratitude and Growth

The Permian Basin Giving Tree is not just about numbers—it’s about the lives touched and the communities strengthened. Each toy given, each pair of socks or pajamas provided, represents love, care, and a promise that every child deserves a Christmas to remember.

To everyone who contributed time, donations, or support this year: thank you. Your kindness is what makes this initiative so powerful. As we look forward, we hope to continue growing, reaching even more families, and turning compassion into action.

Because when we come together as a community, amazing things happen.
