Foster West Texas Kids is a collaborative effort that helps connect prospective foster families with licensed child-placing agencies across the region. By working together, local agencies make it easier for families to learn about fostering, find support, and take the next step toward providing a safe and loving home for children in need.
This last weekend, Foster West Texas Kids hosted a fun Easter egg hunt designed to bring foster families together and welcome families who are interested in fostering. Current foster families and prospective foster families gathered for a day of connection, encouragement, and family fun.
The joint recruitment event was hosted by Buckner, TBHC, High Sky, and a DFPS. Guests enjoyed Easter egg hunts for both children and adults, face painting, lunch, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
